Creating an advanced resource center for XDP tissue, brain banking plays a crucial role in preserving vital DNA needed to understand how the disease affects this main organ.

Through genetic mapping and research, recent studies have pinpointed the likely gene of XDP. And together with the CCXDP, hopes are higher that there may finally be a lasting solution.

Through clinical exchange programs with the CCXDP, our local doctors learn best practices from the US, while our foreign counterparts gain first-hand experience with us at Panay.

Anticipating the needs of XDP patients, we conduct epidemiological studies with the CCXDP to determine the patient population and infrastructure needs.
